WARNING FROM THE RIPPER
London, June 29.
The vigilance committee in Whitechapel has received another undoubted warning from Jack the Ripper. Patrols and ? were revived and Scotland Yard sent an extraordinary contingent to watch the Whitechapel district. Jack announces that he is about to perform another "operation" and that if the vigilants attempt to track him he will knife them in the heart. It is the duty of the police, he says, to catch him. He says that he has nearly been caught but he will never be taken.
