The following is a list of people suspected of being Jack the Ripper. Please note that while most of the main suspects in the case are represented below, this is by no means an exhaustive list of suspects. By some counts, more than 500 individuals have been put forward by various experts, historians and theorists - most based on flimsy or non-existent evidence.
