Z CALEGO SWIATA

Jedna z nich, nazwiskiem Elsa Stride, byla z urodzenia szwedka.

FROM THE WHOLE WORLD

The municipal government has set a prize of 6000 gold roubles for the detection of the woman-killer in London's district of Whitechapel. It appears that the arrested American Fitzgerald isn't the murderer. The panic which prevails among the inhabitants of Whitechapel at present is so great, that hardly anybody in this area goes to bed at night, and police, through common indignation, are constantly blamed. The last two victims of the mysterious killer belonged, like their precedessors, to that class of miserable London women who, because of lack of money, must look for a night's lodging in doss-halls and bystreets. One of them, named Elsa Stride, was Swedish by birth.
