JACK THE RIPPER
AGAIN SPREADS TERROR THROUGH WHITECHAPEL

London, April 5.
The whole city was horrified in the morning by the intelligence of an outrage similar to those wrought by the mysterious Jack the Ripper. The abdomen of a woman, mutilated horribly, like the victims of the Whitechapel fiend, has been found floating in the Thames at Horsely Down, The mere fact of the discovery is all that has yet reached here, but it has created wild excitement and further news is breathlessly awaited.

Only a Scare

London, June 5 - Later
Police officers say that later discoveries with regard to the abdomen of a woman found in the Thames, do not point to murder, but indicate the fragment was from the subject of a medical dissection.
