CHARGED WITH MURDER

Vienna, Jan. 2.
Simon Schostwitz was arrested last night, charged with the murder of Anna Shilka. He met her on the street and followed her to her room and cut her throat. Her screams brought neighbors to her assistance and a mob set upon him, crying: "Ripper." The police saved him, after he was kicked almost to death. He admitted his guilt. They don't think he is the "Ripper" who murdered so many women lately, however.
