The notorious Jack the Ripper, who has ceased operations for some time past, has again made his appearance in London, and last week committed another heinous murder of a woman in Whitechapel. That this infamous villain and wanton murderer has so long eluded justice is a standing rebuke to the London police. What has become of the once famous Scotland Yard detectives?
