THIS DAY'S POLICE
MURDER CONFESSION - A FOOLISH FELLOW

Benjamin Graham, 42, was taken into Snowhill Police-station, on the afternoon of the 17th inst., by a man who stated that prisoner had told him that he was the Whitechapel murderer. To-day he appeared at the Guildhall. A doctor's certificate was read by the chief clerk, in which it was stated that prisoner had suffered from excessive drinking. He was then discharged, Mr. Alderman Renals, however, regretting that he was unable to punish the fellow in some way.
