Casebook Message Boards: Ripper Media: Specific Titles: Non-Fiction: Mr. Sheldon's Booklet

I am interested in Mr. Sheldon's booklet. Since I live in the US I know I cant send a check (cheque?). If I were to order a copy, how would you like to be paid, Mr. Sheldon? I suppose eight pounds would translate into about $12.00. Can you take US dollars in cash? I suppose I could ask my bank if they would let me write a check in pounds. I have no idea if this would be allowed.

Actually, Diana, you can buy packets of £ notes from your local AAA office, but no US bank will let you write a check in pounds. If you send a US check, you'd better include the bank fees, as well; UK banks will hit Neal with charges for the conversion of $ into £,and so will your bank, so the original amount will disappear in conversion charges. Why not try a GLOBAL PRIORITY mailer from the post office and send about $15 in cash to Neal; that way he can recover the postage costs to get the booklet back to you. Regards to all, and I hope we see you in Baltimore, where I will have copies of Neal's booklet for sale at the book table......and, yes, Neal I bought them in Bournemouth! It's a special publication and well worth having. Judy Stock

Hi Diana, I'll be quite happy to accept the $12.00 or whatever it translated into in dollars, I just hope it would be safe for you to send cash? Hi Judy, Thanks for buying copies of the booklet, I only have 7 copies left myself, so I am glad that you will be taking some along to the US conference. Thanks. Neal.

Hi Neal, I'll be sending you $12 U.S. too. It is safe to send cash overseas cause I have done it before. I look forward to the read. Sincerely, Chris H.
