I've just recently come across this item in the Royal Library of Stockholm, and according to everyone I've spoken to, no one has ever found it before. Its a 16 page booklet, apparently non-fiction, published in Sweden, 1889, and, unfortunately, entirely in Swedish. I'm working with some people now to get a translation out -- once I do, I'll post notice here. (Anyone fluent in Swedish, please contact me via e-mail at spryder@sprynet.com)

The title reads: "Who was Jack the Ripper? An examination of the woman murders which took place over thirty (sic) years in Whitechapel, London."

Published in 1889 and title "...which took place over thirty years.."????
Sorry to say, I don't know any word in Swedish.

Good luck with the translation,

Jill

I'm curious myself as to what the "thirty years" reference might be all about. And with any luck I'll find a translator soon to tell me!
