Casebook Message Boards: Ripper Media: Specific Titles: Other: On the Trail of Jack the Ripper (Audiotape): Martin Fido audiotapes

A quick question for the assembled worthies - Whilst trying to reorganise my Ripper shelves, I realised that I have an audiotape by Martin Fido called "The Truth About JTR." Unfortunately, this was given to me by a friend, and I am not quite sure when it came out. According to the Casebook Timeline, Martin put out "On the Trail of JTR" in 1992 and "Jack the Ripper" in 1995. Can anyone tell me which of the two I have, and how I can get hold of a copy of the other? Many thanks, Christopher-Michael

Maybe these tapes have different names according to the publisher and/or country. After all, in Uzbekhistan the diary is called "Dzerhib bod Crizcon."

The easiest solution to such research questions as these is to get the answer direct from the horse's mouth, so I went to my mate the old nag himself... The Truth About Jack the Ripper. Watford: MCI, 1995 In The Footsteps of Jack the Ripper. London: Talking Tours, 1993 On The Trail of Jack the Ripper. Herts/London:Tring/Long Island/LBC 1992

Many thanks, Paul - I can always count on you! I have the first two on the list; it's "On the Trail" that I need. Has anyone a spare copy? Or, failing that, Tring/Long Island's address? Gratefully, CMD
