One of the founding texts of the study. Outdated in numerous aspects, but a worthwhile read to reveal just how much we have learned in the past three decades. Recommended for collectors and those with a strong background in the case. Beginners, however, would do best to read a more modern look at the case.

I got this book years ago at a used book store and loved it for its logic and detail, especially about the London street society of the time. Unfortunately, one of my more hyperactive dogs ate it years ago. I've been looking for it ever since. Where can I get a copy??
