Jack the Ripper and His Victims Neal Shelden January 2000 This unassuming title is privately printed by the author, and is far from an aesthetic masterpiece. But its austere exterior should definitely not dissuade anyone from snatching up a copy of this meticulously-researched volume. Neal Shelden authored 'The Victims of Jack the Ripper' in the January 1989 issue of True Detective, and is known to most students of the case from his many articles in Ripperana and Ripperologist. Readers may purchase this new release from Amazon.co.uk for £10, though it is a "Special Order" item according to their inventory. Mr Shelden unfortunately did not include any other ordering information, so if you know of other retailers offering the piece, please post it here.

Hello all, I recently purchased a copy of this volume (it's too small to really call a book) and I was very impressed. It is exceptionally written and contains more dependable information regarding the lives of the canonical victims than any other work. It's an excellent reference tool for writers and researches alike. My only qualm is that it did not include Martha Tabram. I purchased my copy used from www.laybooks.com for $25 and consider it a good investment. Yours truly, Tom Wescott P.S. Just to set the record straight, the author's name is Shelden, not Sheldon.

Thanks for pointing out the spelling error, Tom. Its now been fixed. I agree 100% with your review - I found the booklet to be quite useful and jam-packed with information. I look forward to reading his latest book on Annie Chapman coming out next month.
