Pinchin Street

Pinchin Street

Above: Site of the famous Pinchin Street torso. On September 10, 1889, Constable Pennet found a female torso, headless and legless, under a railway arch. Although the abdomen had been mutilated, it was never proven to be a Ripper murder. Photograph courtesy of Mr. John Smithkey III.
