Harrison, Paul.
London: Robert Hale, 1991.
197p, ill.
Casebook Review:
Paul Harrison tries to pin the murders of Joseph Barnett, the live-in lover of Mary Kelly, but the book fails to convince. Almost unbelievably, he researched the wrong Joseph Barnett (there were at least two "Joe Barnett's" living in Whitechapel at the time). Furthermore, he fails to credit Bruce Paley, who was the first to propose Barnett as a real suspect. You'd best read Paley's book on the same subject, its far more convincing.
