I haven't read it yet, but I expect it to provide at least some insight, if not a good old-fashioned chill. But I thought people should know it exists, because Jackson is one of the USA's few recent truly great practitioners of "Old World" Gothic.

It can be found in:

_Just an Ordinary Day_, a collection of pre-
viously unanthologized short fiction. New
York, Toronto, London, Sydney, Auckland: Ban-
tam Books (paperback), 1998.
