Casebook Message Boards: Ripper Media: Specific Titles: Fiction : Shirley Jackson -- "Jack the Ripper" (short story)

I haven't read it yet, but I expect it to provide at least some insight, if not a good old-fashioned chill. But I thought people should know it exists, because Jackson is one of the USA's few recent truly great practitioners of "Old World" Gothic. It can be found in: Hyman, Laurence Jackson & Sarah Hyman Stewart. _Just an Ordinary Day_, a collection of pre- viously unanthologized short fiction. New York, Toronto, London, Sydney, Auckland: Ban- tam Books (paperback), 1998. The hardcover is from Bantam, too, and was published... Oh, why am I saying all this?! Like you guys can't use barnesandnoble.com or amazon.co.uk/aus/ca/etc...
