Jack l'Eventreur: Scènes Vécues
Jean Dorsenne
Les Editions de France, 1935.
[Reprint] Cappella Archive, 1999.

Dorsenne

Originally published in 1935, "Jack l'Eventreur" is considered one of the scarcest Ripper volumes on the market. Fortunately, Molly Whittington-Egan has published an English translation of the original, recently released by Cappella Publishers in the UK. The reprint is handsomely bound in hardcover, with a laminated dustjacket and ribbon bookmark. The translation itself is seamlessly crafted and a pleasure to read -- very highly recommended!

The text itself is a mix of fiction and fact, providing a wonderful insight into the public's ideas on the murders only fifty years after they took place.

Copies can be ordered *only* from the publisher:

Cappella Archive
Foley Terrace
Gt Malvern
Worcestershire
WR14 4RQ
England

The price is be £24 plus p&p (£1.50 in UK). The ISBN is 1-902918-02-9. US customers should contact Cappella for ordering information.
