A Musical Concept by Frogg Moody Narrative Written by David Taylor Read by Colin Burden This newly released CD is described as "A MusicalConcept," but such a sparse description hardly does theproduction justice. There are a total of 19 tracks (9 aremusical, 10 are narrative) for a total of just over 50 minutes ofplaying time. The interweaving of narrative and music workmarvelously both to describe the events of the times and toprovide an enormously entertaining "rock musical."Perhaps the crowning achievement is a rendition of "A VioletFrom Mother's Grave," the song Mary Kelly was last heardsinging on the night of her death, complete with a female Irishaccent. But the CD is just the beginning... the entire production willbe shown live by the Midnight Theatre Company. YoursTruly, Jack the Ripper will be shown at Salisbury ArtsCentre, Bedwin Street, Salisbury on Thursday 29th October &Friday 30th October at 8.00 pm. Tickets are £5 (£4.50concessions and Art Centre Members). Box Office 01722 321744.
