About a year ago I read a book that I found very entertaining, and I believe others who visit your web-site would agree. The title is "Anno Dracula", by Kim Newman. In the book, Dracula was victorious in the struggle recounted in Stokers novel and has made vampires of many of Londons citizens, including Queen Victoria herself. The story revolves around the search for a clearly Ripper-inspired killer known as Silver Knife, and Eddowes, Stride, Kelly etc are all vampires killed by him.

I think that most Casebook visitors would find it an interesting bit of fiction.

This is truly indeed a GREAT book! The identity of Silver Knife (Which will NOT be revealed by me) is very realistic. And I believe that some one almost like him could have been Jack The Ripper. A WONDERFUL READ!!!

I also read Newman's book as well as it's sequel-The Bloody Red Baron. Both were excellent. The plot of Anno Dracula is basically Dracula meets Jack the Ripper. Many real-life and ficitional characters of the Victorian era make appearances in the novel.
