Does anybody know of a new (fairly new) book on the subject of Warren, Jack the Ripper and Freemasonry?

to Walter Zanger:
Check with any local Masonic Hall[blue lodges], the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, or the York Rite of FreeMasonry. They have tons of books on the subject both old and new. Hope this helps you in your search.

p.s. Don't be afraid to ask them, they will assist you in any way they can.

Dear Caz;

I promise he won't receive any funny handshakes.

As for all the theories of masonic involvement, that are all baloney.

Being a mason, I know something about them. They are nothing more than a benevolent faternity.

Now I shall wait for everyone to slam me for being one .

Is anybody aware that Warren was a founder member of Quator Coranati, the premier lodge of Masonic research. Following the foundation of the Lodge, it would appear that he took little participation in its activities. There are (at least)2 books written by Warren, one concerning his excavations of the 'Temple' at Jerusalem, and another apparently concerning a thesis that the 'middle chamber' did not exist.

I think that to take Warren as a good source of info must be tempered with the fact that he was not exactly playing with a full deck.It is well known that he was the officer in charge of the British Armed Forces at the battle of Spion Kop in the Boer war and during the said battle was observed to take a bath in a tin bathtub(maybe taken from mary kelly's room)in full view of his troops while they were fighting--Shades of Monty Pythons Meaning of life don't you think
