David,
While I realize you throw a spoke everytime someone calls you a misogynist, the above is the exact type of post that proves you actually do view women as inferior creatures. Not even hint of acknowledgement that it might be a woman who solves the case.
That aside, your sexually tinged comments have become excessive and pervasive and not appropriate. There is no one currently posting that I would relish hearing about or imagining their manhood. Stop making me ill and lay off with the locker room superior male jocularity.

You are such a bore.
I did not call anyone delusional because of a "hobby." I called someone delusional because they think people are interacting with demonic spirits who are conspiring to take over the world and have inflitrated all religious organizations other than their own, as well as popular culture. That's a clear cextbook example of delusional paranoia.
I also did not use the wrong definition for insane. I keep using the correct one. The one that is used by psychologists, doctors, lawyers and judges. You and a few other people keep using the sloppy make-it-up-as-you-go-along one that is about as precise as calling someone a "nutjob." Since you can change that meaning whenever it suits you, as you have often done, you can advance any argument you want and then adjust your definition to try to match the facts.
The only way you can keep trying to present yourself as a hero to other posters is if you lie about what happened.
I'm sorry to other posters for having to re-explain all this on every thread that Rich decides to take over by lying about what other people said. If he'd keep to arguing things in one thread, stick to the facts and stop insulting people this place would be a heck of a lot more friendly in general.

You said I "lied" when I said you attacked someone personally for their hobby when they disagreed with you.
On 01/10/02, when Greg dared to oppose your opinion that Jack the Ripper was not insane, this was, in part, your reply to him:

That's a lie because I did not attack him for a hobby... I attacked him because his anti-Satanist group labels anyone not in his religion as witches and Satanists and tells police officers to be on the lookout for dangerous "cultists" because they play videogames or worhsip a goddess instead of his particular version of the JudeoChristian god. Surely even someone as dense as you can realize that's not just a hobby, any more than a white supremacist going to a KKK rally is a hobby.

Even when you are proven wrong you still continue on. If you keep to your typical strategy you'll just hop over onto another thread, insult more people, lie about them, make up your own definitions of words to try to win an argument, and then go ballistic again.
Here's another definition you should be familiar with:
"troll (verb) as used on the Internet, the practice of trying to lure other Internet users into sending responses to carefully-designed incorrect statements or similar "bait" including personal attacks."
Don't you have anything better to do?

Dan and Richard,
I am partially to blame in this because I gave Richard troll status which as far as I am concerned means anyone can bash at him and I'll sit and smile. Butthe infection has spread to half the threads and will now be stopped. Richard, you will cease and desist making all comments about or to Dan that contain any negative connotation whatsoever. Dan you will do the same.
I admit that the tone the boards have taken on lately are largely my fault because I have allowed it and responded to it, increasing the acrimony rather than just banning the dips like I ought to.
The negativity will now stop. I don't have time to read every post to cull out insults and it seems like they are cropping up everywhere. So I am going to make the time. We are back to being nice and scrupulously following the rules. Trolls will be banned not clubbed from now on.
This is the word and the law, forever and ever amen.

Perhaps you didn't understand me when I said the nastiness was going to stop. Nothing in your deleted post was recent or posted since I made my declaration of no further nastiness. I understand that H.B. has been sniping at you for month. Rrealize that you bring a lot of it on yourself, it will not be happening anymore and move on. If it does continue, I will deal with it.
You are becoming one of my most time consuming posters. That's not a good thing to be right now.
