I know that there are some available from the Ordinance Survey, but, being located in the US I would appreciate any information that can provide specific Ordinance Survey map titles and map numbers. Also, if there are any US vendors of Ordinance Survey maps, that info would also be appreciated.

Your best source for reproduction maps is Alan Godfrey Maps in England who have published a good run of inexpensive maps of different scale for the East End and London and the United Kingdom generally.
Skip, the following information was previously posted by the indefatigable AMP aka Viper who may also be able to answer any other questions you might have about area maps or the East End generally:

The map most likely to suit most people's needs is in their Old Ordnance Survey Maps series, Sheet 63, Whitechapel, Spitalfields and The Bank. It is available in a choice of years, namely 1873, 1894 and 1913.
Price is a very reasonable £1.95 per map (in U.K). There is also a flat fee on each order to cover postage and packing.
He added--
The number of maps worth acquiring will vary from student to student, according to individual need and budget. My personal Top 8 recommendation is listed below (highest priority first). The first five maps, especially, have proved to be hugely beneficial. A second Shoreditch map is a bit of a luxury - you can make do perfectly well with either one of them.
