Chris, Let me get this straight. You've been in the same room with Mr. Hasselhoff? Now I am impressed. Seriously, I got to playing with my new DVD player and forgot to watch this afternoon. I'm usually not one for musicals but I do understand the supporting cast was excellent, so I'll catch it when it runs again. Cheers, Dave

Hi ya David, hope you got round to watch it carefully meanwhile and started recreating it already by growing Hasselhoff's chest hair. :-) Was Pam in it as well? Christian P.S.: The average age of the audience in his concerts here was about 13. They've been looking for freedom ;-)

Christian, It's going to take more than chest hair, I'm afraid. Not even an extra tube sock is going to do the trick. Cheers, Dave

Bye Bye 2002, Hello 2003 Just so happy not to have another September 11 --with Bali and the D.C. Sniper it wasn't heaven. We're still looking for Osama alive or dead, sifting the fibs his Al Queda buddies said. Uncle Milty's gone and Linda Lovelace too, one guy in drag, one sword swallower, oooooh! Will 2003 bring us Nirvana ... or much worse? Keep alert, folks, to live history is our curse. Christopher T. George

To those who like Shakespeare: Frontline is running a show tonight (in Nashville, at least) dealing with the authorship question--check your local PBS station. Cheers, Dave

Anyone else feeling the effect of whatever virus it was that hit the Internet last night? I haven't been able to access my email account for twelve hours. I've never seen it this bad before. Cheers, Dave

Personally I've seen no evidence of a slowdown anywhere I've gone on the web today. But then these things are bound to be spotty. What sites aren't working for you? Dan ---------------------------------------------------------------- Consider supporting this great site by making a donation

Hi, Dan Pages are loading with no problem, it's just whatever server my email account is on has been down forever. Ah, well. You know, Microsoft put out a server patch fixing this vulnerability about six months ago. Guess who my ISP is? MSN--guess they didn't apply their own patch. Cheers, Dave
