For those interested in Neill Cream, and aren't aware of this already, an interesting article appeared in The Times on March 12, 1985. It can be found at the following link to "The Whitechapel Page": http://members.tripod.com/Magpie_IX/ripper/TIMES/times10.html RJP

Please see my post on the "Tumblety board," as it has every bearing upon the subject of Dr. Cream.

Jennifer, Since it was on UK tv I have not seen or heard of it. Is Ms Fayfield claiming Cream did not kill the four prostitutes he poisoned, or is she just reexamining the case? Jeff

Jeff, this programme was about whether or not modern slueths could solve the case in four days based on the evidence police had and newspaper reports of the time. the span of the evidence recieved by the police was scaled down to this time period. In all there were three "dectectives" and all came to the correct conclusion that dr neil aka cream was the poisoner so she was reexaming the case. i hope more programmes on this format follow as i really enjoyed it first time round and after seeing the repeat. though the first time i was kicking myself because until the name dr neal was mentioned i hadnt figured out that he was the lambeth poiisoner id read about via ripper literature! hope this makes sense jennifer

This was a Flame Television production and featured Martin Fido. Further programmes are in preparation.
