has anyone considered above as a suspect. 29 year old bury was living in the east end at the time of the murders.when he moved to scotland the murders stopped.he ran into a police station in 1889 and stated i am jack the ripper and i have cut up my wife and put her in a trunk.tried on the 25 march 1889 he wrote a full confession and sent startling facts to the home secretary which were not published at the time. hung by james berry on the 24th april at dundee.HANGMANS RECORD BY STEVE FIELDING. 1995. rgards. steve.

Steve - The book "Jack the Ripper: Anatomy of a Myth" by Bill Beadle (ISBN 0952-448-904) is a well-written look at the case which proposes Bury as a suspect. I don't believe it is available on Amazon.com, though you might find it on Amazon.co.uk. If not there, it is available from Rupert Books in England. Christopher-Michael

thanks.christopher.i can recommend the hangmans record to anyone who is interested in grisly murders in victorian times from 1868. from cutting throats from ear to ear to drowning of babies.its all in there. get it from your local library.
