Casebook Message Boards: Ripper Suspects: General Discussion : How easily theories can be made.
Author: J.D. Rose Wednesday, 12 January 2000 - 10:37 am | |
Its easy to see how modern day theories can be put together. The well know and still debated "Royal Theory" is still looked at with sceptical eyes by most serious people, while still others buy into it because it involves what modern people like best a sex scandel, a love story, and a cover up. Serious students of the case can easily see through such fabrications but others still don't see that you can take anyone involved with the case and make them into the Ripper.

Well Scott, not sure about his being the Ripper, but back in June I went through your article "A Butcher's Row Suspect Revisited" in some detail and concluded that shops in that arc from about 57 to 62 Aldgate High Street presented very likely locations for the identification of the City Police Suspect. Both the businesses you mention fall into that range. Regards, V.
