Casebook Message Boards: Ripper Suspects: General Discussion : And the Survey Says ...
Author: Stephen P. Ryder Monday, 06 March 2000 - 04:20 pm | |
As many of you know, we've been collecting reader votes on the Casebook for both books and suspects (each can be rated from 1 to 5, 5 being the highest rating). While response has been somewhat slow on book reviews, there has been no shortage of opinions on favorite suspects! Now that we've collected a fair number of entries (just under 500 at last count), its time to make the results public. A statistical breakdown of the results of the suspects survey can be found at http://casebook.org/suspect_av.html. Remember that these results do not necessarily indicate the "most likely suspects" -- rather, they serve to gauge general public opinion. If you haven't already done so, be sure to send in your ratings!! Voting forms are available at the bottom of each respective suspect page on the Casebook. And if you see any suspects missing that you feel should be included, let me know. These surveys will be ongoing -- once enough entries have been received for book reviews, I will release the results similarly.

Interesting results... I'm especially delighted to see Lewis Carroll at the bottom of the list (where he belongs) even below the incarcerated Neill Cream! Maybrick is a surprise, though. Hmm.
