If you remember Severin Klosowski had a mistress named Annie Chapman, whom he mistreated (but did not poison). He eventually adopted her last name as George Chapman. Too bad his poisoning victims did not have names like Kelly, Eddowes, Nichols, or Stride. It would make him a more interesting Ripper suspect. Instead they had last names like Spink, Taylor, and Marsh. Best wishes, Jeff Bloomfield

He also attempted to seduce a Florence Rayner. She told him (Being a nice sensible Rayner!) that he was married and should be thinking of his wife. I think she was in the last stages of being poisoned by Chapman, the wife that is.

My grandmother's grandmother (on my mother's side, apologies if this is beginning to sound a little "Radka-esque") was called Annie Chapman.

Hi everyone. I had a coincedence, or rather a bit of a nightmare. Many years ago early seventies.i was really deeply involved in these crimes more so then now. I retired to bed one night woke up about 4.45am to go to the bathroom,on returning to bed and settling down to go back to sleep,i suddenly felt something go across my neck which to say the least made me jump saying to the wife ; THAT BLOODY CAT; refering to our cat jumping on me , she said the cat is in the living room and the door is shut. I went and checked and sure enough she was curled up in front of the fire place asleep ,and the door had been closed . Anyway at least two years later i was reading the latest book on the subject and upon reading the statement of mrs praters cat diddles ,wakening her up by running across her neck made the hairs on my neck literary stand up ,my wife said how strange,. The point is at that time although i had been intrested in these crimes for several years i HAD NEVER read that before ,and seeing that it would have been nearly the same time as mrs prater experienced that feeling . it does make you wonder for to this day i cannot make any sence of that sensation which i experienced COINCEDENCE ? regards richard.

Hi. Following on , another coincidence. Have any of you seen the film SAVAGE MESSIAH, it has been shown recently on T.C.M movies, the film deals with an artists love affair during the first war. i noticed at the end of the film when the credits started that parts of the film were filmed at 26 DORSET STREET. obviously not the east end one but a art studio in the west end. Walter sickert was an artist , also one of our old posters kelly jones, claimed kelly had a relationship with an artist [ pinch of salt] it is just a coincidence?. regards richard.
