Recent "Ripper" Murders

Wednesday, 14 August 2002 - 12:07 am |        | I stated in a previous post that I am writing a dissertation on "copycat crimes", with emphasis on the ripper crimes. However, I am unable to find any specific crimes that fit this category. To be specific what I am looking for are people that murdered with the MO of the ripper. Please, I beg of you all help me out.....
I have already be turned onto Rumbelow's book (ch 9) I can't find it in any bookstore however. I need the names of the killers, victims, dates, MO etc. Thank you all very much in advance.

You might start with Peter Curtin, the "Dusseldorf Vampire," or Peter Sutcliffe, the "Yorkshire Ripper," though their M.O.s varied a bit from the Whitechapel Killer's. |
