You see my point, dear Grazi ? Ed has presented us with first class methodology... walking the streets and allyways of the East End, and with the Viper's contribution we have learned a great deal concerning the geography of the Scene of Crimes.
But, as regards his favourite suspect...an Hassidic Jewish gangster using terrorism to force
other non-Hassidic Jews to migrate to New York, we have only Ed's word for this scenario.
His analysis of the Goulston St. graffito is original. His linguistic and alchemical 'compound'
shows a wonderful imagination...but surely, it is not the ONLY linguistic and alchemical 'compound'
that can be shown to be 'hidden' in the Goulston St. MESSAGE...if Jack wrote it and if it was transcribed correctly before it's erasure!
Is Ed's theory and his suspect...new? The Special Branch/ Met. Police would have looked very closely at any group/cult esconsed in the Whitechapel area...especially 'foreigners'.They would have examined the possibility that the Goulston St. graffito held a clue...the higher officials were competent in a wide field of esoteric knowledge...and like Caz... completed their Times crossword in under ten minutes :-)
Anti-semitism was rife...as was anti-Irish sentiment.
I am of the opinion that the word "Juwes" forms the essence of Ed's theory of a 'cultic killing',
and the rest, as they say, is THEATRICAL EFFECT.
Thats entertainment!

And that's the only valid explanation to the laps of time between the night of the double event and the next killing.
And that's the only valid explanation of the brutality of the Kelly's murder....and the location.
No way, the best way to cope with the delinquents in London, was the same way the French police used in Paris.
The Metropolitan Police understood it.
But could the well-thinking and the self-satisfactory Victorian society do it.
I energically doubt it.
Then, do you think it was easy to distinguish once for all a polish jew who came from Ukraine (Russia but still Ukraine) from another from Poland but who was born in Russia and who could have both changed name each time they moved from one country to the other and sometimes even in the same country.
They knew, no way to doubt, East End underworld was a little world with well established rules as every underworld.
But they were lost, trapped and then, after Mary Kelly's murder, scared (not least Mc Carthy).
Ed got it, of that I am sure and I will never doubt.
It smells out from his wording and each time I checked he got it right. I may even say that thanks to him I was able to open my mind to some aspects I would never have thought alone.
The confirmation of all that is still there nowadays.
But the hidden aspects of the case are a lot.
As usual, this is only an opinion, mine.

P.S.: As far as I remember the "Rosacroce" got their inspiration from Giordano Bruno and Tommaso Campanella. As for Rosenkreutz and Guilderstern, aren't they dead ? |

Well, there could be a solution....you know....I learned to appreciate Ed a lot from the moment I joined these boards, ....he must be a very nice guy....but he still is only a name....I heard him once....only once....
He has a family, it would be sad....but....after all we would get free and cool to discuss for other 113 years....
Well, Rosey, ....if the money is good....for the sake of the case....I'll do it.
Let's face it, it's the only solution.
