Casebook Message Boards: General Discussion: General Topics: Whitechapel Web Cams
Author: Stephen P. Ryder Monday, 29 January 2001 - 04:17 pm | |
Hi guys - This came up a year or two ago but nothing ever came of it - I figured we've got some fresh faces in here so I might as well try again. The idea of setting up one or more 24x7 web cams in Whitechapel has been mentioned... pointing at the murder sites, or the Ten Bells, Spitalfields Church, etc. It would be of interest not only to see the daily comings and goings of the area, but also to see the tours and tourists which regularly visit the area. If you know anyone who lives/works in an area close to one of the sites, and would be willing to help in this regard, please let me know. I would of course provide the web cam hardware/software free of charge to any volunteer(s), assuming they have a computer and a dedicated internet connection available, as well as a good view of the site. Contact me at spryder@casebook.org. Thanks!
