I have placed an image of (c1887-1888) and information about William Levi Taylor, one of the Buffalo Bill cowboys who may have been questioned in October 1888, at the following location: www.geocities.com/austinhistory/taylor.html Buck Taylor was born and raised near Austin, Texas at Fredricksburg, a German settlement on the Texas frontier, in 1857. It is possible that if he was questioned it was due to the fact that he was known to be from the vicinity of Austin, Texas, where the first documented American serial killer (Texas Monthly, July 2000) was active in 1884-1885. Johnny Baker, aka 'The Cowboy Kid', apparently was 13-14 years old in 1888, and was the foster son of Buffalo Bill. Respectfully submitted, Allan McCormack Austin, Texas

G'day Allan, Um, Although some of the witlessnesses said that Jack was 'foreign looking' none of them said he spoke with an American accident. Good thought though. Jules
