Is Commissioner Sir Charles Warren Jewish or did he just have great sympathy for the Jewish people at that time? |

I know of no evidence that Warren had any Jewish blood. The action I presume you are referring to - the erasing of the Goulston Street writing - reflects, in my opinion, not so much any sympathy for the Jewish residents of the East End, but more a fear of civil unrest and breaches of the peace.
