On Sunday afternoon M. Ostrog was arrested at the Fox and Goose Inn, Burton on Trent. He vehemently protested that he was a Swede, and was simply visiting the breweries. At the police station he tried to escape, but was instantly seized. He then drew a loaded eight chambered revolver, but Mr. Superintendent Orwell seized his hand and prevented him from firing. Yesterday M. Ostrog was conveyed from Burton on Trent to Slough for identification by Mr. Superintendent Dunham, of the Slough Constabulary, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.
