Jack the Ripper
London, May 8.
A newspaper in this city has published a long article which claims it is based on information supplied
by the police, suggesting that an ex-soldier, named Grainger, a native of Cork, is Jack the Ripper.
Grainger is serving a ten year sentence in prison for the murder of a woman in the Whitechapel district
last May.
