The people of London are wondering whether the police have really got "Jack the Ripper." Among the officers themselves the belief is growing that they have. Strong evidence is being accumulated against the man Sadler which he will find it hard to answer. He has appealed to the Firemens' Union to do something for him in the way of securing proper defence, and a London newspaper actually proposes to provide counsel for him. There seems to be no dount that he was with "Carrotty Nell" the night she was murdered. It will be a great thing for Commissioner Bradfird if he really has the assassin of the Whitechapel victims in his power.
