Man Is Young and His Identity Not Established
Berlin, Feb. 27.
The man who during the past fortnight has been delivering a series of attacks upon women on the streets of Berlin was captured. He made an attempt to stab a woman on the Friedrichstrasse, one of the crowded shopping streets of the city. He is a young man, but he has not yet been identified.
This attempt was the thirty sixth Ripper case since the beginning of the outrages. The descriptions of the assailant do not agree and for this reason it is believed that various men have been engaged in the work.
