Suzi, Is the chalk part an indication, a theory, or a metatheory, objective or subjective? Or is it a metacog..cogg.. Helge The possibility of succesfully navigating an astereoid field is approximately 3720 to 1! (C3PO) Never tell me the odds. (Han Solo)

Helge-- you MIGHT be spanked but only when I'm good and ready. Diddles didn't need chalk, he scratched the message with his claws. That's the real reason it was destroyed so soon, to throw suspiciion onto the canine population. It really read "The mews are the mogs...." Mags

That's gonna be hard, Mags.. But maybe after some red wine, cognac, and a good sigar.. Obviously Diddles would have no problem slinking in through Mary Jane's window either. If think we nailed him. Suzi, Woman, how do you know I have a furry backside? Have we met? Helge, Mags, No need to convince me, friends, I've always been of the opinion that Diddles was a suspicious character. Maybe he was Norwegian. But I'll gladly go for the cognac anyway: I just had some red wine for my dinner, so cognac would go great with my coffee and pasteries. I am out of it! I can do without the cigar, though. All the best (Message edited by Glenna on June 11, 2005) G. Andersson, author/crime historian Sweden The Swedes are the men That Will not be Blamed for Nothing

Glenn, (And to think I thought I needed to bribe you! LOL. Well, anyone else up for bribes?) Mr Diddles was in fact a Norwegian sailor named Fodelma. Fodelma, mind you! Brits and Yanks can't spell those names you know. Although its only hypothetical, of course. Oh, and he suffered from NDP. Which is an acronym for Norwegian Personality Disorder. And I'm pretty sure he was a radical.. Helge (Message edited by helge on June 11, 2005) The possibility of succesfully navigating an astereoid field is approximately 3720 to 1! Nitey everyone! Glenn, No, but Fogelma is misspelled Fodelma on a link to the messageboards here on casebook. Actually Fogelma is not a Norwegian name either. BUT, considering how the other names were butchered by that newspaper, it is, IMO most likely a misspelling for Fuglemo, which IS a Norwegian name that I have traced among other places to Arendal (rings familiar?). I claim to be the first to have realized this, as everyone else has been looking for Fogelma. As we speak, I got a friend of a friend (The girls needed a bit of persuasion, but I'm good at that hahah) over in Noo Joisey looking into the archives of Morris Plains. You never know.. (I'm just like Han Solo. Odds don't bother me at all Hahah) But now I got to (Message edited by helge on June 11, 2005) The possibility of succesfully navigating an astereoid field is approximately 3720 to 1! Amazing... I move to another address and am off-line for a couple of days and come back on and Diddles mania sees a resurgance. Helge - it might be worth a trip back to the start of the archive of this thread to get what it is all about. As we all know, Diddles loves a good thread... as long as it is attached to a ball of wool. Glenn - red wine for your dinner indeed. Nothing else? Suzi - thanks for keeping the flag flying. Maria - I agree about the claws being responsible for the Goulston Street graffito. Sorry I wasn't in the usual place on Thursday night; I completely forgot what with the move! Hi all. Just got in from another Ripper tour. Helge - just to let you know... this thread is deadly serious. One can never make light of a feline serial killer. As with all aspects of Ripperology, the prospective Diddleite has to be fur-miliar with all the facts before pro-fur-ing theories. There was no intention of patronisation; merely an offer of 'look what you've missed'. Promise. Suzi, Glenn, Maria - you all know nothing. So big pants to you. I am brill so ner ner nerrrrrrr. Hi All, I've had a message from the Whitechapel branch of the Cats' Protection League, threatening to send the other half of the kidney to prove Diddles didn't do it. He would never have left any of it uneaten, they claimed. They also think it's mad to accuse the creature of chalking the graffito. He would never have been seen dead using a double negative, they purred. The letter warns us to scratch this thread before they consult their cat litter-gation team about the Penalty Claws regarding false accusations. The letter is signed: Catch us when you can, but Diddles must not be blamed for nothing. Love, Caz X PS The kidney threat was a giveaway - the message is obviously genuine, so Diddles should now be purr-nounced innocent. |

Ah,Caz, the Diddleites have already been the subject of litigation, but the brave and tireless search for the truth goes on. Truth is the absolute defense against libel. Let those who would impede the progress of this great journey remember that only by the most diligent and rigorous search, willing to pierce into the very heart of evil, will the great and healing light of knowledge finally shine once more in the dingy alleys of the great city. Man, I should have been a preacher, no? Mags
