The full text of an article titled "The Inside Story of Jack the Ripper", published in Fate magazine in May of 1949 is now available on the Casebook at: http://casebook.org/ripper_media/rps.carrington.html The article is heavily based on the R.J. Lees story which originated in the 1890s, though Carrington associates Macnaghten's third suspect (Druitt) with the "doctor of high standing". He also suggests that P.C. Edward Thompson was the one who identified Macnaghten's "Polish suspect". Stephen P. Ryder, Editor Casebook: Jack the Ripper |
