The Arrest of Jack the Ripper: Or, How I Became a Detective By an Ex-Police Officer Published: April 1892 Found this item in the Bodleian Library, and was surprised not to see it in any of the usual Ripper bibliographies. Its a fiction, to be sure, about 16 pages in length. I've got the full-text and will make it available to any interested parties via email - the Bodleian is finnicky about copyright so I don't want to publish it on the Casebook proper until I've got the necessary permissions. Hi Stephen, I'm writing a doctoral dissertation on late-Victorian Ripper pulp, and I'd love to get my hands on the full-text of this, if possible. I've not seen it before. Hope you get this message! Thanks. Elyssa Warkentin |
