Stephen,

If there are future CDs from you, will it be feasible to have the 'keyword search' feature restored?

Thanks for having the CD available in the first place and for the quick turnaround on my order--I'm finding my copy useful.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi David -

Unfortunately there is no way to restore cgi programs on the CD-Rom, such as the keyword search. You can, however, search the entire CD-Rom using your Windows or Mac search function.

For WinXP, for example, pull up My Computer and right-click on your CD-Rom drive. Select "Search" on the menu that pops up, and then type in whatever search terms you're looking for.

Thanks for that solution, Stephen!

Best,
Dave

Those of us still chugging away on Win98 can find this search function listed as 'find' in the start menu.

Many readers have been asking when the 2004 edition of the Casebook CD-Rom would be available, so here's the announcement - IT IS NOW AVAILABLE! :-)

This CD-Rom is current as of 8 January 2004, and includes about 425 pages of new content (plus nearly a thousand new pages of new message board content). It also includes the old, archived message boards which are no longer available online.

If you've been waiting for the 2004 edition of the Casebook CD-Rom, now's your chance! You can buy it via Paypal at the following urls:

$22.49US (includes shipping) - US/Canadian Customers

$23.99US (includes shipping) - Non-US/Canadian Customers

Those who have already purchased a 2003 CD-Rom have the option to "Upgrade" to the 2004 edition for just $9.99 + shipping.

Anyone with a message board account who purchases a Casebook CD-Rom will also be granted "Ad-Free" account upgrades, free of charge. This means NO MORE BANNER ADS, POP-UPS, or POP-UNDERS on the Casebook - ever! As long as you remained logged in to your account, you will never see another pop-up on the Casebook.

Customers may also purchase with cash, check or money order in US dollars. Shipping anywhere in the U.S. or Canada is $2.50 ($22.49 total), while shipping to most other countries is $4.00 ($23.99 total). Payment can be sent to:
