Hi all, Does anyone know anything about this film and if it could have been a Ripper movie as was the 1953 production of the same name? Thanks, Stan |

Stan.......hi, yourself! According to the internet movie database, the 1915 version of MAN IN THE ATTIC is in the crime genre, but was based on a play written by Charles McEvoy, while the 1953 version was based on the Belloc Lowndes novel. Also, none of the characters' names match up between the two, so I'd GUESS the early version isn't a Ripper film...could be wrong, of course..... have been before! Wish I could help more...I have just about all the Ripper films, including TV episodes, and would LOVE to find another. Cheers, Judy |

Hi Judy, Yes, I found the film on several sites but found the information lacking. It was a crime film, was from the UK and had the same name as another Ripper film so I wondered. I too have several JTR films and have the Jack Palance version ordered right now. Stan |
