Jack
A Solo Performance
Written and performed by Michael Huie

"Thoroughly captivating... a raw performance that embodies the grim reality of the Ripper crimes." - Stephen P. Ryder, Casebook: Jack the Ripper

"'Jack' is a magnificent not-to-be-missed performance. I can't recommend it too highly." - Donald Rumbelow, author of The Complete Jack the Ripper

Jack - A Solo Performance is coming to The Cherry Orchard Theatre in southern Virginia for two weekends. The show will be performed Sep. 30-Oct. 2 and Oct. 7-9. Showtime is 7 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $10. For information and reservations, call (276) 755-4837, (336) 789-7400, or (during business hours) (276) 755 -3593.

Jack uses monologues from a variety of perspectives to create the atmosphere and social conditions of Victorian England. Jack London called the East End of London “the abyss,” and it was this poverty-ridden urban area where the world’s first -recognized serial killer hunted his prey.
