Claro, 19 Thomas Reeves, 26 William Vaughn, 28 William Reeves, 21 William Lenauter, 20 It is interesting that Collard and his family apparently resided at the station, perhaps because of his rank. One year after the census, Collard died with the rank of Chief Inspector. He was active in the investigation into the Eddowes murder and was one of the first policemen on the scene at Mitre Square. Mind if I ask, where do you find census information? There's a photograph on this site (I think) of the policemen at the Leman Street station and I was curious to know who the men in the photo are. |
