Has anyone discovered a sample of Tumbletey's handwriting, perhaps from when he was in the US, and compared it to the JTR letters?? |

c>Hoyle I've asked that question about just about every suspect - has any serious ripperologist tested handwriting of all the suspects? Noone seems to be interested. I guess if you write a book called 'case closed', and annalyse a joke suspects handwriting, people may pay attention to it. I guess noone in ripper land will actually entertain the prospect that amungst all of the hoaxed letters, there may have been a bona fide letter from the killer. |

Hi c hoyle and Kyle, Both of you should probably get Evans and Skinner's Jack the Ripper: Letters from Hell, as it has full color photos of "Ripper" letters -- the famous ones and all sorts of lesser known ones -- as well as samples of handwriting from a variety of suspects, including (as you might guess considering who first offered him up as a possibility and the matching name on the cover of this book) Tumblety.
