Am I correct in my belief that this poem first appeared in Donald Mccormick's book and that there is no edvidence of it be geniune?

What is the full story behind this?

There is much speculation as to the author of the poem, though most believe that it was not the work of the genuine Jack the Ripper, but of Donald McCormick. This letter, I am 99% sure is a hoax.. A copy-cat.
