HELP! HELP!

Can anyone help. I remember reading an article somewhere (but old age has dimmed the mind) about a story told by a army officer returning from the trenches of WW1. He said that JTR was a doctor of note who was locked up in an asylum. He was told this by another officer one night while they were both on guard duty. He did not see the officer again. Perhaps he had been KIA.

Article could have been in Ripperologist, Ripperana, Casebook Etc Etc.

Can anyone help?

Andy P.

Hello Rob,

You are a 'diamond'. I have been going thro' all the backdated Rip's and missed the article.

Sue and I even contributed to that edition!

Thanks, this just shows us how great this site is.

Andy.
