Have you read Sugden, he makes a pretty good case against Ostrog.

If I remember correctly he was in Prison at the time, but I will look more closely on my return from the pub

Cheers

Monty,

Sugden 3rd edition, Introduction, pp. xx-xxi.
Ostrog was arrested in Paris on 26 July 1888 and finally convicted on 14 November 1888.
This both exonerates him and explains why he failed to report (which was why the Met was looking for him).

Louis,

Good work old chap, thank you.

Though I was merely using Ostrog as an example of a more plausable suspect than Sickert...even if he was in the choaky at the time.

Ostrog is a rather shady character. His full first name is Mikhail (anglicised to Michael Ostrog). He might have been Dr. Alexander Pedachenko's alias, thus only being one person.

His present day grandson "RAT FACE" he's just like his grandfather and is also eluding the london, ont. police

old jack was licking stamps and sending letters to the police. DNA from rat face would solve the ripper murders... hurry they are breading and spreding out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
