Or you could file for joint custody and work out visitation rights... After all, you want to do what's best for the book.
That's assuming either of you are even still in the running... The bidding is really getting up there. Man, whenever Chris links to an eBay auction it skyrockets. I'll have to see if I can get him to link to the next item I put up for sale to see if that magic continues.

Dear Jon....Thats a good idea. In fact, I e-mailed my spous..I mean,friend Tom and told him I would pull out of the running,so he could have it...but being the beeyotch he is, he won't respond.
Dan...Thats a good idea too [ I knew you would figure out what to do about our little Patristic Jr. ] ...I could and would gladly let Tom have custody of the book on the weekends,while I go off and dance at local bars like The All Fours Lounge and as Dave mentioned, Chippendales...

.....weeell, it wasn't too many years ago I photocopied a 'leading' Ripper book, of 541 pages to be exact, and mailed it off to a fellow budding Ripperologist in Russia of all places, who was desperate for anything on the subject.

I hope your bid is successful. If you look on the last page shown on the auction listing, among the "critical notes" in the last line of St. John, 1, 1, you will see that there is a Bishop Westcott who is mentioned. Serendipity?

That copy was purchased by a collector of Bibles. Occasionally, Chris Scott lists things that are available on the thread "Ebaywatch".
If I see it on sale again,I'll let you know.
