I don't know if this has been brought up before (couldn't find such a post when I searched) but there is an inconsistency in the Aaron Kosminski as suspect theory.

How can Israel Schwartz be the Jewish witness that identified Aaron Kosminski as one of the two suspects he saw with Liz Stride? Of the two suspects that Schwartz saw one threw Liz Stride to the ground and yelled out "Lipski". The second suspect began following Schwartz which would indicate he was probably in cohoots with the other man. So why would Aaron Kosminski or his partner have called out "Lipski" an obvious anti-semetic slur?? This would indicate that the two men were NOT JEWISH. Therefore Israel Schwartz could not have been the witness that identified Aaron Kosminski (or any other Jew for that matter) at the seaside home.

This point was made by Sugden in his chapter on Kosminski. Sugden argues from this and other evidence that the Jewish witness is likely to have been Lawende.

Hi Jeff,

I dont think the witness was used to identify the Stride suspect. He was used to ID the Eddowes suspect(whether or not they are the same man is another story.).
To me, from the info that has been gathered on Kosminsky, he did not exactly fit the "stout broad shoulder" appearence that Schwartz described for the Berner Street suspect. From what I understand, Aaron was a slimmer build man. Best regards.
Paul
