Hi, everybody! I'm doing research about the canonical victims, and I need literature that holds as many details of their lives PRIOR to their deaths as possible. If anyone would recommend something, I would be grateful! Thanks! |

Hi Jenny-Anne, Neal Shelden has written some booklets dealing with precisely that subject. See the Ripper Media section of this site for further info, under the non-fiction titles. I don't know how easy they are to get hold of now, but as Neal posts here regularly he might be able to advise you. Otherwise I think that Philip Sugden's book is probably the one to go for. David |

Hi Jenny-Anne and David, I don't actually have anymore copies of the three publications I have written on the victims, but Jenny I can do photocopies of the pages for anyone who needs the information? Maybe if you could email? Neal |

Hi, Neal! So nice of you to offer me photocopies! It would be extremely helpful! A friend of mine actually has the one about Catherine Eddowes, and has promised to lend me it, but I would love to have the other two! Actually, I'm not registered at this board, so I can't e-mail you, but if you would be so kind as to e-mail me, I will write back directly! |
